Eiji Oue in Action

Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra 2006 - Eiji Oue, conductor Wagner Flying Dutchman Overture Not sure if I can relate his movements to the music - CAN YOU? ;)
I randomly felt to checking it out, someone had made the whole playlist of same artists playing till 8th but why not 9th is there?
Excellent performance, bravi tutti! If the first movement of Beethoven's 8th doesn't make you want to get up and dance, check your pulse.
What? The soloists can't sing with the choir in the final measures?
What I love about Maestro Jarvi is how obviously he feels the music. He is engaged at not only a musical level, but also emotionally. This flows into the orchestra and enables them to express the emotions written deep into the music!
joy

Closer to A=444
There is no one quite like Beethoven. He had a style that was all his own. A top composer! This is a great orchestra too! Thank you for sharing...
Beethoven's favorite until the Ninth.
This is a fantastic performance by a great orchestra
33:44 Just fantastic.
This conductor conducts with his chii, among other things. 👌
👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
I beleive that this symphony is faster than it was played live, i listened to it on 0.75x and their physicals movement made sense. However, the tempo when it’s faster is much much better
Шикарная божественная музыка
Bravo!
Magnífico! Um som e um sentido rítmico extraordinários.
Final of Marcia Funebre really killed me.
Help i cant stop listening to this
Wonderful music wonderfully performed. Bravo!
Just perfect. Thank you so much for upload this masterpiece and bring us the possibility to listen/watch everday.
Great

Oh what a refreshing delight!

Non è Lascia ch'io pianga nel Rinaldo,ma Lascia la spina nel Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno. Ma è anche un'aria del maestro Haendel
Unique. Forever. Great Conductor, Fantastic Musicians, and Orchestra in the foremost climax that is imaginable. Jarvi completely understands and catches the core untouchable depth of Symphony No.9. He recalled Beethoven and flourished his music in our hearth. It is beyond of imagination. Thank you all.
I alternate between classical music and heavy metal, there’s no in between lol.
The singing is absolutely wretched.

Very nice !
Hard really to be a pessimist listening to this
I still believe that the last 2 minutes have yet to be surpassed.
There's a place toward the end of the first movement where Beethoven cycles quickly through a couple key changes... I'm guessing it's not a metaphor for changing channels on a TV or trying different settings on some other appliance, but can't shake the feeling that it's a metaphor/musical joke that would have been recognized as...something, by someone in Beethoven's day. Can anyone speak to this?
Nice performance. The leaner orchestra fits the piece.
🫴🧨✨✨🧨✨✨🧨✨✨✨💥
Where is the 9st???
They must'vs said, damn its too hard to play lol
It’s 9th
Fantastic performance!!!
I love how he doesn’t wait in between pieces. Unless it was edited that way.
Perfect tempo
Wow
de very besssst !
Järvi is having fun at work. Brilliant! And they are from Bremen, just about 25 klicks from where I live ...
Absolutely magnificent! The tempi is exactly where it should be. The Chailly recording is similar and also excellent.
The recorded Beethoven offered here is some of the best we’ve heard in a long time: rhythmic, propulsive, and organically musical from start to finish… …but the orchestra’s stagily choreographed performance style is best left omitted. Listen to it with your eyes closed and you will understand what I mean.
Ok
i d like to see more of the brass player’ faces . Overall this is a fascinating exhibition of orchestral performance!
53:10 goosebumps everytime
